Sphynx Cat

The Sphynx, also called the Canadian Sphynx, is known for its lack of fur, which comes from a natural genetic mutation; breeders began developing it through selective breeding in the 1960s. Its skin feels like chamois leather and has the colour and markings its fur would have had. Because it loses heat quickly, it is warm to the touch and always looks for warm places.
