Split (Croatia)

Split is a city on the Dalmatian coast of Croatia, on the Adriatic Sea. Diocletian's Palace forms the core of the old center, where Roman remains intertwine with lively streets and squares. The Riva promenade and the views from the Marjan hill complete its Mediterranean landscape.
