Synagogue in Câmpina
The synagogue in Câmpina preserves the memory of the Jewish community that contributed to the life of the city. Built in 1905, the building stands out for its light-colored facades and tall windows. It is one of the landmarks through which the religious diversity of Câmpina at the beginning of the twentieth century can be explored.
Inside, a display area dedicated to the history of the Jewish community has been set up. For the interior, it is necessary to organize the visit through the local tourist information center, without assuming that the door is always open. The exterior offers a first contact with the architecture of the place, and the explanations received on an organized visit can add context about the people and institutions of the community of old.
