Synagogue in Reșița
The synagogue in Reșița is located on Mihai Viteazu Street, at number 8, and is dated 1907 in the inventory of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Romania. The building preserves the testimony of the Jewish community that was part of the life of the industrial city. The facade, the window openings and the decoration of the synagogue distinguish it among the buildings in the neighborhood.
The exterior can be seen from the street, during a walk through the religious heritage of Reșița. The symmetrical facade and its decorative elements preserve the identity of the building erected at the beginning of the twentieth century. The interior does not have a confirmed permanent tourist program, so entry is only possible under the conditions announced by the Jewish community.
