Târgu Ocna Salt Mine

Târgu Ocna Salt Mine is located in the town of the same name in Bacău county, on the Trotuș valley. The tourist spaces are set up inside the salt mine, where the galleries and pillars preserve the traces of the mining works. The visit starts at the entrance managed by Salrom, on Salinei street, and continues underground under the conditions set by the operator. The salt mine can be included in a route through Târgu Ocna and its surroundings. To organize the visit, consult the administrator's information about access, transport in the mine and possible temporary restrictions.
