The Croods is a 3D animated comedy that follows the world's first modern family on the adventure of a lifetime. When the cave that had been their home is destroyed - along with the rest of their world - the Crood family is forced to set out on its first family road trip. Shaken by generational conflicts and seismic upheavals, the Croods discover an incredible new world full of fantastic creatures and a future they never imagined. Although they lived several million years ago, the Croods feel like they could come from our own home. Like most fathers, Grug (Nicolas Cage), the head of the family, is fiercely protective of his wife and three children. His hypervigilance has kept his cave-bound family safe, protected, and…very bored.
