Ira and Ruth, Sophia and Luke: two couples who seemingly have nothing in common, separated by many years and different experiences. Ira, a Jewish man nearing the end of his life, is trapped in his car after an accident and finds himself beside the ghost of Ruth, his beloved wife. She keeps him alive through memories. A few kilometers away, Sophia, a student at Wake Forest College, struggles to recover from a painful romantic disappointment. Hope returns when she meets Luke, an attractive rodeo champion. Like Ruth and Ira, Sophia and Luke initially seem as different as can be, yet they attract and complement one another. Eventually, the destinies of the two couples intertwine with unexpected depth.
