A research team's submarine is attacked by an enormous sea creature thought to be extinct and left damaged on the floor of the Pacific, with its crew unable to escape. With little time remaining, expert rescue diver Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham) is recruited to lead a mission to save the researchers—and the entire ocean—from the unstoppable threat of a giant prehistoric shark known as Megalodon. What nobody could imagine is that Taylor encountered the monster years earlier during a deep-sea expedition. Now, alongside Suyin (Li Bingbing), he must face his fear and risk his life to save the day, even if that means confronting the greatest predator of all time again.
