The road through Bicaz Gorge

DN12C crosses the Bicazului Gorge between the Roșu Lake area and Bicaz-Chei, on the connection between Harghita and Neamț counties. The road follows the narrow valley, between high limestone walls, in the Cheile Bicazului–Hășmaș National Park. The curves and proximity of the cliffs make the landscape change over short distances. Visiting requires caution for both drivers and pedestrians stopping in the area. Parking is done only where it is allowed, and walks on the paths follow the marked routes. Road conditions and park warnings are checked before departure.
