The Toyger ("toy tiger") is a breed of domestic cat with tiger-striped fur. It was created in the 1980s by Judy Sugden from common tabby cats, Bengal cats and a cat brought from India. The creator says the breed was meant to make people think about protecting tigers in the wild. She is described as sociable, relaxed and playful.
