Transalpina

Transalpina follows the DN67C through the Parâng Mountains, from the Novaci–Rânca area on toward Obârșia Lotrului and Sebeș. The alpine sector climbs above the forest, among meadows and peaks, with many bends and big changes in elevation. The route provides access to Rânca and to the roads in the Lotru valley. Traffic on the high sector is seasonal and may be restricted due to snow, wind or roadworks. Before setting out, check the updates from CNAIR and the Infotraffic Center. Stop only in designated areas, without blocking the road.
