Transrarău
Rarău Massif, Suceava
Transrarăul crosses the Rarău Massif, in Suceava county, between Pojorâta and Chiril. The county road DJ175B connects the valley of Moldova with the valley of Bistrița and climbs through the forest to the high area of the massif. From near the road there are views of the peaks of Bucovina, and the mountain trails continue towards Pietrele Doamnei. Tight curves and narrow sections require caution when meeting other vehicles. Some sectors have seasonal restrictions; the condition of the road must be checked with the administrator before the trip. Road access and mountain paths are planned separately.
