Treeing Tennessee Brindle
USA
The Treeing Tennessee Brindle is an American cur-type hunting dog with brown "brindled" fur with black, native to the Appalachian and Ozark Mountains. The AKC says it was bred for a very good sense of smell, strong trailing voice and an unusual ability to corner game in trees, and describes it as loyal, alert and intelligent. Not recognized by the FCI; AKC has had him in the Foundation Stock Service since 1995.
