Victory Statue in Tișița
Tișița, Mărășești, Vrancea
The statue of Victory is located in Tișița, a village that belongs to the city of Mărășești, and is a historical monument. It was made by the sculptor Oscar Han (1891–1976), whose mother was from Vrancea. He also made the statue of Mihai Viteazul from Alba Iulia.
The monument was erected with the money of the journalist Pamfil Șeicaru. The statue stands on a high plinth made of stone blocks, and high concrete arches can be seen behind it.
