In 2805, Earth has become a planet of garbage, and humanity has been living on giant spaceships for 700 years. WALL-E, the last trash-compacting robot still working, carries on alone until EVE, a robot sent to search for signs of life, arrives; he falls for her and follows her across the galaxy. Directed by Andrew Stanton for Pixar, the film tells much of its story with almost no dialogue and won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature.
