Welsh Terrier
United Kingdom (Wales)
The Welsh Terrier is a wire-coated terrier from Wales, usually black with reddish, originally bred to hunt foxes, badgers and even otters. The FCI standard says that it is a true working dog, perhaps less exuberant than other terriers, and describes it as affectionate, obedient, easy to control, cheerful, brave and fearless, but definitely not aggressive.
