Las Vegas, three days before Christmas, when the city is dead and depressing... A beaten, bloodied young woman, soon revealed as HOLLY (Dominik Garcia-Lorido), is thrown from a car at a bend in the road and left to die. Determined to reach the emergency room, she manages to say only one thing: Nick... Is Nick the man who did this? When we first see NICK (Jason Statham) in a bar, we are inclined to believe he is guilty. He is an intimidating drunk who makes a pass at DD (Sofia Vergara), then picks on her boyfriend OSGOOD (Max Casella) when he arrives. Osgood came to the bar hoping to persuade DD to move with him to Atlantic City. Is she hesitant because he lacks prospects? Osgood likes to think he can fight, but nobody believes him until Nick provokes him and takes a severe beating in the car park outside.
