Wooden Church in Bonț
Dej, Cluj
The wooden church in Bonț was built between 1829 and 1831 in the village of Bonț. In 1996 it was moved to the courtyard of the municipal hospital in Dej, where it received the patronage of Saints Cosmas and Damian, the physicians who treated patients without payment.
The church has a porch on the entire west side, a short tower above the entrance and an eight-sided sanctuary. It was painted again between 2000 and 2001 by the painter Vasile Nițescu.
