Wooden Church in Valea Seman

Valea Seman, Urlați, Prahova

The wooden Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in Valea Seman, a locality that belongs to the city of Urlați, was built in 1753 from oak wood.

The beams under the eaves end with brackets carved in the shape of horse heads, a detail that is not found elsewhere in eastern Muntenia. The church has a wooden tower above the entrance and is surrounded by the village cemetery.
